I’m a principal engineer at Mercedes Benz Research & Development in Stuttgart, Germany. My team and I are currently working on one of the most exciting topics of the 21st century: Automated Driving. There couldn’t be a more thrilling experience for me than to actively develop the future of the automobile.
At the same time I am working on my PhD thesis since 2014 in collaboration with the MRT Institute at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. The subject of my thesis is “Deep Fusion of Camera and LiDaR” which is mainly focused on LiDaR-Camera calibration as well as depth completion of sparse LiDaR data. For more information have a look at the Publications section on this page or visit my Google Scholar page.
In my leasure time I spend most of the time traveling and hanging out with friends. Some of those moments are captured in the Photos section.
I also enjoy spending time with my Wasting Foxes. We are a small Band that enjoys playing for friends and just have fun.
